It could have been that, it was a real frustrating issue that took all planting season to solve. I would change filters,then it would work fine till under load. I blew air back into the tank through the line going into the filter thinking there was maybe and obstruction in the tank. Then decided it must be a weak pump. Installed the pump, it worked and thought I finally solved the problem, then it stopped dead on the road. The tanks were clear full then , I took off the line going into the filters, and the fuel was flowing freely. I reconnected the line and removed the filters, and no flow whatsoever, so I disconnected the line again and also removed the elbow. There was the source of all my woe, pulled it out , hooked everything up , and the tractor ran like it hadn't ran for months.
