The injection pump is the heart of what makes a good running engine. Get it fixed right. Half the tractors that are being used need the pumps gone through for best starting and performance.


Its a 1900 dollar tractor that the previous owner blew the motor and its got a combine engine in, and they broke off 2 of the 6 bolts in the 1000 RPM PTO hub, so I dont think I am going to spend alot on the old girl. :)

The 7580 Allis on the other hand, at that HP level, and the fact the engine is original, I would definitely be alot more apt to "do it right" on that one. Same with my 2-155.
