iowa | It was explained to me that inversion is much like the gravel road dust you see hanging above the ground on a calm morning or evening. You can easily see the dust because of the low sun.
This is why Banvel drift always seemed to follow lower laying areas like waterways.
We used to spray 2,4D and Banvel with drop nozzles in corn next to soybeans. The 2,4D damage would show up the next day. Banvel took much longer and it always was an irregular pattern. If a whole large field has symptoms, I feel something else is going on.
