I thought mixing 28 and herbicide together was a big no-no for top yields.
John, I think the issue was mixing the two and spraying with flat fan nozzles, particularly if the application was your sole nitrogen topdress pass. Just way too much N to put on with flat fans regardless of the herbicide.
