Some guys start their own plants but there are greenhouses in the Niagara region and down near Windsor that produce vegetable transplants. In your area a simple cold frame would probably not need to be heated to produce your own plants. We grow all our own plants. Have had bad luck getting plants elsewhere. Quality issues and sometimes not getting the right varieties.
