| Hi, Sure it can be done and no you don't need a website. I have been using ip based megapixel cameras with bult in web servers. The image quality is awesome but the bandwidth requirements are more demanding on a wireless link, so one might slow down the frame rate per second to the minimum. As far as keeping it from the public you might want to use private ip addresses instead of public ip's. Either way they have user name and password protection. Iqeye and mobotix cameras are pretty good options for your application but are a bit expensive. | |
