his head in a snowbank. at least. I had to take the roof off the 7420 today to replace the radio antenna. I was having fond memories of the old 4240 with 2 bolts up on top and 3 screws across the front. Even had a prop rod to hold it up! The 7420 has the 2 bolts on top, 4 longer lag-type bolts on top, and I think about 12 torks screws that screw around the edge. And nothing to hold it up! I haven't had to work on the 30 series yet but that one has some kind of escape hatch out the top. I just think that this was soooo much easier on older tractors. Rob D
