I would always recommend putting a sensor which is controlling the belt at the same end as where the hyd. motor is. For one simple reason... it's the surest way to get accurate readings back. If you put it up front and the chain or belt is driven at the rear... what happens if your chain gets sloppy or is jumpy? It starts giving false reading to system which then tells the motor to make an adjustment that isn't necessary. I've seen it happen a dozen times. The fix is ALWAYS moving the sensor to the same end of the truck to where the motor is controlling the belt.
