The real value they add is transparency. I like being able to look up and see how my prices I pay for seed and chem compare to other farmers, Luckily I find my prices are usually in Line. I'm lucky and have a great agronomist and a great coop. They pay out 80 to 90% in cash and the oldest equity is only 4 years old.
