central PA | Again, consider the rear end number. If mpg is important, then consider the 3.31. I have a 2011 with the 3.71, and my average over 30,000 miles is 14mpg. I don't push the peddle much, I try for better mpg, I just will never get it with that rear end. Of coarse, the new trucks are lighter, but the rear ends still count. It's all relative. If I ever buy another truck, it will have the 3.31 rear. That little turbo will pull plenty if I need it. But I rarely need the pulling power. To each his own. Good luck. |
