Is there a lot of difference between the 2.7 and the 3.5 motors? Seems like some pretty good deals on the 2.7. Not going to use for pulling anything just an every day driver. Will the 2.7 be just a pooch going into some wind?? Thanks

I think you would be very happy with a 2.7, many magazine articles have stated how amazingly close an aluminum pickup with 2.7 is to the performance of the old 3.5. The new one has changes that fix the carbon buildup problem and timing chain wear of the old ones, plus a few more mpg. 2.7 is still in the 350 hp range. Also the new ones have a 10 spd transmission, up from 6 spd on the older ones, keeps that 2.7 in its happy power range.

My next one will be a 2.7, and I pull goose neck trailers.
