You’ll like the 2.7. Save the $$$ and buy it over the 5.0 or 3.5. I’m on my second 2.7, both with the 3.55 locking rear end. The 2.7 was the fastest 1/2 ton pickup ever tested on the "Fast Lane Truck” on YouTube. It doesn’t downshift excessively on hills, no more than GM 5.3 pickups I’ve owned. Dad has the 3.5 ecoboost w/ 3.55 and I wouldn’t spend the extra $$$.
