We are a lot south of you , but we are just getting started . We are 100% wheat and cover crop cereal rye for the last few years. We will plant until mid December. Thanksgiving planted last year greened up nicely in late February. We will top dress rye covers in mid February if it needs to grow. We loaded out about 4000 bushels of rye seed this week , bin run going to neighbors. We flew a few hundred acres of our own into standing D.C. Soybeans this week. Usually finished with beans by now , but this year , lots of late harvest. Our weather looks better this coming week , so I expect lots to go on here the next two weeks.
