No till and the moisture savings associated with it has helped in some of the dryer areas. Western Kansas is one example. They can no till corn is summer fallow wheat stubble without losing the moisture they would if they worked it making dryland corn a better option. Also the newer hybrids can take a lot more heat and dryness.
