Pierce county WI | Luckily for you, you happen to have one of the most powerful guys in government agriculture as a representative for Minnesota. Collin Peterson is chairman of the AG committee. I would call his office, and probably farm bureau. Eminent domain is a necessary evil for some things, but it gets abused. Good luck. Maybe they will buy the whole farm for a good price. The problem is finding another parcel to replace it with. If someone offered to buy my farm tomorrow, it wouldn't do me any good to sell it. There isn't any other farms for sale. Even if you did find one to buy, the seller would want the same price that you just got out of yours. | |
