Subject: RE: Milk at Menards

southern MN
Twenty years ago menards was a place to find cheap stuff, but it was cheap stuff and their help was dumb as a box of rocks.

They really have improved a lot, from what I see, and offer some good values now, and at least a few people in each store are intelligent, nearly all now are helpful and polite.

In a world of big box stores and mail order, they seem to have gone in a good direction around these parts. I was pretty happy when they built a store in my town a few years ago, I hardly ever go to the bigger town 35 minutes away any more. Wife even is happy with a shopping trip to menards, but she's a good one I got a keeper.
