Subject: RE: Traeger grill machinery....

Tuscola, IL
Believe it or not, try a frozen pizza on it.

Don't get me wrong, these grills were made for ribeyes, porterhouses and ribs, but just out of curiosity, I tried a Jack's frozen pizza on it one day. I noticed when grilling steaks mine gets to about 425 on high which happens to be where the pizza needs to be cooked. Threw it on frozen and a few minutes later it looked like it had come out of the oven. The smoke of the Traeger really added to the taste of the pizza. I was pleasantly surprised. I don't do it every time, but when I want to add a little something to a quick dinner, I throw a pizza on the grill.

Something else we've found, you can't beat grilled asparagus on there to go along with a good steak. Toss the asparagus in olive oil and throw on a little salt and put them right on the grate.
