South Dakota | I don't like that logic, essentially what we're saying is "we can't hold Monsanto accountable because we fear it will make future technology harder to get approved." I would argue that if we don't want to be Monsanto's doormat in the future, we have to hold them accountable. Monsanto rushed a flawed product to the consumer. There's no way they didn't know it was flawed. Other companies have to look at this debacle and learn from it so we don't have this problem again. What if Monsanto gets out of this smelling like a rose? I think it will set a bad precedence for Ag. They have liability just like VW with their emissions and tecata with their airbags.
