The last time I watched them they said they were very disappointed in the weed control, they said that dicamba would work a lot better with ammonium sulfate added and smaller droplets size. I cringed when I heard him say that because if people do that on their own next year the drift would be even worse. Also they said using 20 gallons per acre would be better.


Physical drift yes but I've heard from more than one source they think the bigger droplets aren't drying and being absorbed into the plant in time thus adding to the volatility issues. Of course adding AMS would reverse xtendimax back to straight clarity but it seems the vaporgrip just delays volatility doesn't stop it. I didn't spray any so no first hand experience but know of one neighbor that did and as far as I know didn't have any issues.
