Texas | You must not have not been around rattlers much. They don't always rattle. Many times yes they do but not always. I walked maybe 3' away from at work and didn't see it and it didn't rattle the guy following me saw it.
My main concern is them being around the house and the kids. The two people here that were bit recently were both kids and were both bitten while playing in their yards.
