Drilldo - 8/17/2017 08:22 You must not have not been around rattlers much. They don't always rattle. Many times yes they do but not always. I walked maybe 3' away from at work and didn't see it and it didn't rattle the guy following me saw it. My main concern is them being around the house and the kids. The two people here that were bit recently were both kids and were both bitten while playing in their yards.

We don't have wild pigs here (in regards to the other poster who said the pigs were killing the ones that rattled so natural selection was causing there to be more rattle snakes that did not rattle). Just a few days ago I was reaching into some tall gras for a garden hose and about grabbed a rattlesnake that did no rattle. Fortunately it did not strike until I started shooting at it with my little .22 handgun. |
