there's another level of complexity. The ISOBUS standard has 14 parts. Not all displays are fully ISOBUS compliant (all 14 parts). For example, a display might comply with the Virtual Terminal standard, but not the Task Controller standard. So it could serve as a terminal (monitoring) but not as a rate controller.
