Hennepin, IL | The way it was explained to me was that there were some subtle changes made to the algorithms in the background that allowed the 2 cal procedure to have the same accuracy as the old 4+ cal procedure. I'm not quite sure how I'll approach it yet, but from what I gather, if you have fairly consistent flow rates (ie you dont have any 0 or nearly 0 areas within the field), the 2 cal should be sufficient. A 3rd cal will get you slightly better accuracy at a low flow, so if you have 0 areas, a 3rd cal would be a good idea. I agree though that a 1 cal was a give-in and they even kind of admit that. I do like that it gives guys options because I know a few are turned away by the old cal process. | |
