Glasgow, Ky | 39 years ago wife and I drove 150 miles from Ky to Springfield,Tennessee. Got married, drove back home the same day, and went back to farming. Less than $100 total cost. Only stress was for others when they found out as no one else suspected it. As Gomer used to say surprise, surprise, surprise.
Letting others influence your wedding plans contrary to what you want is a bad way to start a marriage. Just sets a precedent for future decisions.
