SC KS | My wife and I got married for under 2500. Church, dress, suits, and reception dinner for 200 head. Btw my wife comes from a Catholic family and she's the youngest. My in laws were seasoned wedding vets. Also she bought her dress which was a white prom and bride maids dresses during middle of summer so out of season. Fixings for the dinner was the main cost. Didn't do a dance. Pictures wete takin by an amateur photographer that was a wedding guest. Small town in ks with very limited hotel options. My guests had to drive 2.5 hours so I wanted them to be able to get up and back and not be tired.
But yes dance, dj, booze are all figured in as normal. Also cost a lot. Maybe my wife and I don't follow the norm and don't set out to show boat and cost the families lots of money. | |
