| for the air preasure system, I put a down pipe in the tank that reaches close to the bottom, then out the top through the filter and out the nozzle. I use a 1" hose so flow is only about 15 gpm, but with a larger hose and enough air volume the skys the limit! I then installed a preasure regulator in the other threaded hole on the tank and I just pull out the air hose and clip it on. Less than 10 psi is plenty. no dc power needed, no pump to fail, just air preasure. I originally developped this system to transfer oil from 55 gallon barrels to my storage tanks in the shop. works on everything up to sae 90 gear lube. | |
