When it's doing it, look at your pump PWM signal. (Wrench, Field IQ, Diagnostics, then the Sensor tab, from memory.) Mine will say the PWM signal is at 100%, but I doubt it, because I'll only have like 60 psi with a 90' boom and #4 tips. Then sidedressing with 2.5x larger tips it'll make 75 or more psi. I don't know what the deal is, but the FMX is lying or confused or something.

In those two scenarios, are you running a similar speed? Are the bypass/agitation settings similar?


Yes, similar speeds (or faster with the larger tips depending on rate), and agitation on or off, neither seems to make a difference. Every now and then, if I'm pushing against the upper limits and have the pump apparently maxed out, I'll hear the pump speed up, and I'll be able to continue to increase my speed to get the pressure up too 80. Maybe more, but that's as far as I've pushed it. But after I turn around and turn it back on, I'm back to where I was before, no more than around 60psi.
