Subject: RE: CaseIH 900 Planter Issues

I've been running the 950 for 25 years now. the best thing that ever happened to me was the introduction of auto steer I use the FM-750 Trimble. I will be the first to admit sometimes its not as straight as the marker but when you spend the valuable time in front of the shop welding the fool markers up when a storm is on its way, I will deal with the few inaccuracies of the auto steer. Great planter other than the markers but I will have to say that about all markers no matter what equipment they are on. before I switched to no-till this was a better planter and not as good now and would like to have more options before the opener disks to clear the trash but for the most part using Yetter trash cleaners work ok. In hard ground I just use the wavy coulter to plow a bit before the seed opener.
