Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | You are probably correct on controlling grade only as this was a small patch job and really didn't amount to much. For their larger jobs they probably still steer manually. I didn't crawl in but from the ground, the Trimble display did look like the ag models I had seen so you are probably correct on that point also.
So if I follow you correctly TSIP does get involved with steering but not so with just running the display. In other words, my Phoenix 200 could run a Trimble FMX as long as steering would not be used. I would never consider that due to my dislike for the Trimble data management but it is just an example.
