Nwmo | Lance is very helpful and knowledgeable about all things GPS, he has helped me with several things over the years. The third port would be extremely useful if you wanted to use a 6500 on a tile plow with intellislope and a third party radio rather than the relay. I think right now the 6500 is auto configured to use port B for the water management module whenever you plug it in. You could also use a third port with a Bluetooth adapter and Lance's ntrip or his Android novatel config program.
I have looked at the manual for the smart 6L, its been awhile but I remember thinking the commands to do something like this were complicated as hell and it scared me away from wanting anything to do with it save for using lance's config program which greatly simplifies changing settings on these receivers. | |
