I use a Farm Credit balance sheet excel program. The growing crop column gets added right into the net worth. I have been told alfalfa does not count, but wheat and rye do. I usually just put what I have invested into that crop at that time for a value.
Year end corn bean guys this is easy to figure out, if you are a winter wheat farmer many wouldn't get a loan based on what some of the previous comments were based on a Jan 1 balance sheet. | |
