| I was merely pointing out that things happen that influence bankers decisions beyond just the numbers on the loan. In my case I don't think the guy that got the farm bought cheap had much to do with getting my notes called. However I saw many instances where some one had a forced sale and they were given incentives to sell to a certain individual. I also saw many times. And yes they have asked my landlord every year for the last 30 some years if they could rent the farm.
As far as the four sections, it was and is owned by multiple land owners. I am not sure who ended up farming each farm that year. I do know that when we were planting at least one land owner was still looking for a tenant.
