I think most of us have a few of those corners. The most efficient way to open them that I have found is to pick strait to the fence. Back up 30-50 feet turning the combine in the last few feet then pick a pass on an angle, keep combine wheels near strait when picking. Repeat if you still can't make the corner.
Leaving the corner bare helps in some places and becomes a meeting place for deer in other places.
