NW Washington | Go for an induction stove top if money no object. Instant heat and no flame.
We have a smooth stove top and I am not to fond of it. It is easy to clean, neat and tidy, but it seems like it takes forever to boil a pot of water to cook pasta. It does have a "simmer" function which is great for making soups and stews.
