NCIN | My mom needs some rehab after spending the past week in the hospital but found out today the insurance co. has denied her coverage for the rehab. Her doctors are going to appeal the decision but what are the chances the denial is overturned? How can I get involved or should I leave it to the "experts"?
Just needs to be able to get out of her chair and move around with her walker
edit to add: Part of the issue is she was in skilled care for the 100 days allows and has not been out for the 60 days required before she can go back in. Needs 6-7 days yet. Been a rough 6 months!
