If I remember right select is a "EC" formulation, so I would doubt that you would have any mixing or settling out problems with it. If you are worried about any potential mixing problems with any water types you may use, just do the old jar test using the ratios you are going to use and if it doesn't turn to cottage cheese over night (I don't think you will ever see this) then you are good to go.
