Yes, the agitation is a good point. We have used a 12V pump for agitation purposes on some rigs as you mention.

I hadn't thought about the "settling out" potential problem. I would probably only mix up a diluted batch of select right before I was going to apply to lessen the issue.

I should check with my Chem dealer and the documentation for further information on that point.

The Insight Direct Chemical Injection setup allows the operator to go into a "Prime" sequence where the output valve is set to deliver the product back to the tank. Then when the Prime sequence is activated the pump runs for three minutes. This process could be repeated to act as a mixing sequence although this might not be too practical. I suppose a paint mixer on an electric drill would be another option but this is getting to be counter productive.

I thought I'd bring up the idea here so see if anyone could see any problems with my plan.
