the 466 motor is ran in a lot of apps where they are regularly putting out 250 -280 horse.     we had several 1486's that under hard pull would run 1150-1300, we still have one that had over 12,000 hours on it before I overhauled due to a bad cam lobe.

had a pair of 5488's one mfd the other 2 wheel drive. same motor as the 3788, one was putting out 210 pto, the other was running 235 pto.  both were traded off with 5000hrs and 6500 hours respectively, both are running today as far as I know with no meltdowns.
