Crawford County, Robinson, Illinois

Wisconsinred - 5/16/2015 14:20 We have it set at 220 pto hp how hot is too hot I see 1300degrees pretty easy and I get a little worried

I loved the 3788's I had, but the rear ends are still bull gears, not designed for high horsepower.  I, like many others, tried to make it a big 4x4, and paid the price.  As others have said, the engine is the best part of that tractor, one of the best made at the time.

I wanted so badly to turn mine up, but dealer mechanics at the time advised against it, and I feel they were correct.  Great little tractor, I loved it for Nh3 applicator, handled trailing tanks and bar well for my operation at the time.
