pete, not trying to change the subject, but a few days ago you said you were against importing cheaper ethanol from brazil, but you wanted to keep subsidys on american ethanol which i suppose is to help your bottom line, but would it not be better for the country, the consumer, the livestock farmer, and the american taxpayer to buy the ethanol at the cheapest place. you know you farmers only want a level playing field or so you like to say. meanwhile you want to keep guys like me mandated to buy your expensive product which i do not wish to purchase. something is not making sense in your arguments
