Subject: RE: Dairyman, Ed, Buster, on travel

I'm thinking if I were to try the AZ thing, I would just come down with the pickup and street legal ATV to get my feet wet.

Maybe stay in a motel for a week - 10 days just to get a feel for the area and the lifestyle. When it gets right down to it, I really don't want to mess with the purchase outlay along with the maintenance and upkeep on a motorhome or travel trailer.

Would be a tight fit for all my medical stuff I have to pack along with whatever else I need in my regular cab pickup. My "good" pickup is a 1990 GMC with a 454. It's pushing 200K but is still pretty darn dependable. And if something does break the pickup is enough old school that it doesn't take a rocket scientist to fix it. Might be best to upgrade the pickup to something more modern that is better on fuel.
