| John, I am going to add more about where Dave and I stay. It is about 95 miles from Lake Havasu City. We stay in a RV park where you can have a nice motor home, or you can have a 1950 trailer. Nobody cares what you have. The place is kept neat and the streets are paved. We have a rec center and swimming pool and hot tub. Lots of activities and a church service. You can do all, or nothing. But the drawback where we stay is you have to drive 35 miles to the nearest bigger type grocery store. There is a little one right down the road, walking distance, for needed items. The nearest WalMart is 50 miles away, that can be good or bad. We have to plan our shopping trips. But we like that there are hundreds of miles of trails that we can take off from right from our park. No need to load up. The important thing is to take the time and have some fun in our golden years. We can still have fun at our age. | |
