A few years ago the county raised the appraised value on a mobile home I was renting out by something like $7 thousand dollars. Called and arranged to meet with the county and explained that if my newer, larger house on the adjacent lot had not increased in value, a rental trailer should have decreased in value. They agreed to set the value the same as the previous year.
Does anyone protest their land valuations from the county assessor?
