Subject: PTO roller mixer for broiler feed

Hi everyone. I,m a newbie on here posting for the first time. I'm a broiler grower in Quebec Canada and I'm thinking mixing my own feed to try save a few$$ / ton. Some of my toughts are to buy a roller-mixer (like Arts-Way or other co) and install 3 bulk bins to receive corn, soybean meal and supplements, add minerals and roll the stuff and mix. Since I have 2 barn about 100 ft apart, the mobile roller-mixer could deliver to the one of the 4 bins. I would need to unload in another auger because my bins are so hight (7ft and 9 ft 6 sections) but what you guys using grinder mixer with a 100 hp tractor could make in ton/ hour? Is 500 tons per years would be better with a fixed electric mix and mill roller mil ans just dump in auger with a trailer for my second barn? Are these kind of mixer hac=ve lots of maintenance/mechanics to do if I buy a decent one? Thanks for your help.
