rdpwr - 5/10/2014 22:21 That bricklin story is exactly what I was thinking about our american automotive companies. cept the gov't didn't bail out bricklin. now we supply cheap cars to the whole world on taxpayers dimes. The government of New Brunswick provided seed money they didn't really have. Some of the money got spent elsewhere according to the Wikipedia article. I don't know the story well enough to comment, but it does look like government money got spent on a concept that had some serious flaws. |
