Sask | Grandfather's first car and the first car in this district was a 1908 McLaughlin. Gasoline came in cans by rail from Winnipeg and the headlights were acetylene. The single cylinder engine was under the seats and what looks like the hood was actually the gas tank. This picture is of one Buick rebuilt a few years ago.
