If there's family heritage behind the farm, and run by the same family yet, it's a family farm. Why is acres/size/# of employees and etc even considered? Every operation is different, just because someone has a hired hand or farms certain acres means it's not a family farm? If it's a corporate structure, where it's unrelated managers running an operation, then I would agree it's not a family farm.
