michigan | there must be a lot of hobby farms around us if that is your description of a full time farm. a lot of guys farming 2,000 up to 5,000 acres and there wives work at doctors office and a variety of other places. and I guess I never considered farms of this size to be called a hobby farm just because the wife works off the farm. I know of some brothers not far from us that are farming around 17,000 acres and most of there wives work off the farm and I would not call them a hobby farm. I guess everyone looks at things different | |
