Aggieland | I need to lose a few pounds (30-40) to get back to my healthiest weight. I've lost about 5lbs just exercising and eating less but my personality requires me to see a quick drop before I can go all in. I did the Atkins diet years ago and it did help me get down. I just feel like if I could lose 10lbs in a week or two it would jump start me to achieve more. I've heard about advocare, some kinda drops and then there's the my health but buddy that says to only eat chicken breast and green beans. If anyone has experiences or struggles similar to mine I'd appreciate your replies.
FYI I gained all this weight in college when I was working full time during the day, 8-5 then going to work at ups from 5:30-11pm, then eating supper, then doing my online classes. I was not eating properly and I went from 200 to 250 in no time. I've been at my current weight for several years so I feel I can maintain weight well just not lose it well.
