Subject: RE: Soybeans

I know Jon's usage charts for beans for the time showed exports running us out of beans. I think Jon and anybody knows that wouldn't quite work out that way. As a 'Glum' marketer and founder of 20/20 hindsight marketing, I'm afraid to be a bull and assume a bear market will rule. We have enough beans with ours and SA to make shortages unlikely. The talk of extra ship bookings just to make sure supply was available in SA (book 3 boats when 2 are all you need) makes a guy consider if demand is really as big as advertised. Might mean rewarding the market with sales will look pretty good next fall. As far as the bottom, we have pretty high inflation regardless of what liberal and political boneheads say - just go get gas or buy groceries. It could mean our bottom is not going to be $5 any longer just because of relative values unless we grow way too many of them.

20/20 HS update: you should have sold beans on March 7th (note this advice could change if the market goes higher).
